Healthy Living for Real Life
The Flourishing Body is for you if …
You’re tired of feeling stuck when it comes to getting healthy.
You’re overwhelmed by all the advice, frustrated by plans that feel impossible to maintain, and maybe a little tired of being told you need expensive products, specialty foods, or a complete lifestyle overhaul to feel better.
You just want to take better care of yourself.
Maybe that means losing weight, making healthier meals for your family, building habits that stick, or simply feeling better in your own body.
I believe healthy living doesn’t need to be complicated, and it shouldn’t cost a fortune.
I’m Nina, founder of The Flourishing Body. I help women, especially moms, make healthy living practical, sustainable, and affordable. Through wellness education, coaching, and workshops, I teach you how to build healthy habits, develop a healthier mindset, and make nourishing choices that work for your real life and your real budget.
Because taking care of yourself shouldn’t mean spending a fortune, following a perfect plan, or putting the rest of your life on hold.
Let’s make healthy living work for you—and your family.
Learn It. Apply It. Live It.
At The Flourishing Body, I believe knowing what to do is only the beginning. Lasting change happens when you learn how to put that knowledge into practice in your everyday life.
Whether we’re talking about nutrition, meal planning, building healthy habits, or eating well on a budget, my approach is the same:
Learn it. Understand the principles behind healthier living with practical, straightforward education.
Apply it. Use my Sustainable Change Framework to identify what will help you turn what you’ve learned into habits that work for your life.
Live it. Leave with one realistic next step you can put into practice—without feeling like you have to change everything at once.
A healthier life isn’t built by knowing everything or doing everything perfectly – it’s built one small, intentional change at a time.
That time I went to Italy with my bestie and they had this statue in one of my favorite parts of Florence. We could not help ourselves.
And my sweet, precious, baby girl, Simone. (She is not actually so sweet).
A Little About Me
Hi, I’m Nina!
I’m a wellness educator, certified nutrition coach, mom, Italophile, and a firm believer that healthy living should make your life better—not take it over.
For years, I struggled with my weight. I eventually learned that getting healthier wasn’t just about working out. It meant learning how to build a balanced meal, understand portion sizes, prioritize protein, and nourish my body well. But my journey didn’t end there. I also had to learn how to make healthy habits sustainable without obsessing over food or my body.
Today, I have a much more relaxed relationship with food and health. I know how to care for my body, maintain my weight without constantly thinking about it, and make intentional changes when I want to. And I have a lot more room in my life for the things that matter beyond the number on a scale.
I think that’s part of why I love Italy so much. I’m drawn to the dolce vita—the sweet life. Good food, shared meals, simple pleasures, and the understanding that food is meant to be enjoyed. I believe we can learn to nourish ourselves well without turning eating into a full-time job.
That’s the philosophy behind The Flourishing Body: practical, sustainable health education for real life, with plenty of room for good food and the people we love.
When I’m not talking about nutrition, you’ll probably find me cooking, working out, dreaming about my next trip to Italy, spending time with my family, or hanging out with my miniature horse, Simone.
Someday, I’d love to bring others along to experience the Italian approach to food and living well firsthand. Until then, let’s start right where we are—and learn to flourish together.
